Join us for a fundraiser on Sunday 15 September at the Turl Street Kitchen*, in the heart of Oxford's city centre. You’ll find us in the bar and living room area.
Oxford Sexual Abuse & Rape Crisis Centre will be running a multi-agency 'Sexual Violence Awareness Training Course' on Friday 13th September 2013 in Wallingford from 9am to 4.30pm.
The course aims to increase awareness of sexual violence and improve confidence in working with survivors of sexual violence. The course covers the following topics:
Our support group service will be starting a new group in July. The groups are open to any woman over the age of 18 who has experienced sexual violence and aim to provide a safe and inclusive space where survivors of sexual abuse and rape can share experiences, work towards recovery and draw on strength and support from other survivors coming to terms with similar issues.
OSARCC volunteers ensure that we offer our service users a continued high standard of support in all of our frontline services. They truly are the beating heart of our organisation, and it is thanks to our volunteers both past and present that we have been able to offer support to survivors in Oxfordshire for the past 30 years.
We're on the hunt for donations to use as prizes in upcoming fundraising activities at Oxford Pride and Cowley Road Carnival.
Both these events are great opportunities for us to raise some much needed funds as well as raise awareness of the services we provide to the local community.
Oxford Sexual Abuse and Rape Crisis Centre welcomes today's news that seven sex offenders have been successfully prosecuted as a result of Operation Bullfinch.
Oxford Sexual Abuse & Rape Crisis Centre (OSARCC) currently delivers support to girls and women who have experienced rape and sexual abuse, via a phone and email listening service, and a support group service.
With thanks to our team of dedicated volunteers, OSARCC's helpline service will remain open as usual across the Christmas and New Year period, including bank holidays:
Sundays: 6.00pm - 8.30pm
Mondays: 6.30pm - 9.00pm
