Oxfordshire women sew ‘quilt of hope’ for an end to sexual violence
Celebratory quilt draws attention to issue of sexual violence in Oxfordshire
We are currently looking for new volunteers to staff our telephone and email helplines. Full training will be provided and we look for women who are sympathetic to our principles and who are team players. We require volunteers to have a good level of English and they must be able to be involved for a minimum of 18 months. Training commences in April 2012 and runs over a series of evenings and weekends.
During the Christmas period, OSARCC have endeavored to keep it's helpline open as much as possible however the line will not open on Sunday 25th December or Sunday 1st January.
Revised opening times are:
Thursday 22nd December - open as normal (6.30pm - 9pm)
Friday 23rd December - open as normal (11.30am - 2pm)
Sunday 25th December - CLOSED
Monday 26th December - open as normal (6.30pm - 9pm)
Thursday 29th December - open as normal (6.30pm - 9pm)
We are looking for women who are able to commit to a monthly evening/weekend meeting, and with time available to get actively involved in other aspects of OSARCC’s activities.
